RB2B Alternatives: RB2B vs Warmly vs Vector vs Factors

TL;DR

RB2B wins on price and simplicity for LinkedIn-first outbound, but Warmly is the better pick if you want real-time rep orchestration and deeper CRM sync, while Vector and Factors serve analytics-heavy or PLG teams.

On this page

Website visitor identification went from a niche DemandGen experiment to a core outbound signal in about eighteen months. Now there are four tools fighting for the same budget line, each with a meaningfully different take on what “identified” even means and what you’re supposed to do with it. I’ve run RB2B and Warmly in production at clients, evaluated Vector during a competitive bake-off last quarter, and spent enough time in Factors.ai dashboards to have a real opinion. Here’s how they actually compare.

15-40%
Typical ID match rate
Across providers, only a fraction of B2B site visitors get de-anonymized. LinkedIn data quality and firmographic coverage drive the gap.
~$0
RB2B entry cost
RB2B's free tier identifies US LinkedIn profiles with no credit card required, making it the lowest-friction test in the category.
3-5x
Warmly price premium over RB2B
For comparable identified contact volume, Warmly's orchestration-first pricing runs materially higher, but covers SDR alerting and CRM sync that RB2B does not.

What these tools actually do (and where they diverge)

Every tool in this category starts from the same foundation: a JavaScript snippet on your site, a match against a B2B identity graph, and some output you can act on. That’s where the similarity ends. The identity graphs are different. The match methodology is different. And the “act on it” layer is wildly different.

RB2B’s core insight was simple and smart: most of your US B2B visitors have a LinkedIn profile, so surface exactly that and push it to Slack. No complex setup, no six-figure contract. It solved the “who is on my site right now” question for SMB and mid-market teams in a way that felt immediate. The Slack-push workflow is genuinely good UX.

Warmly made a different bet: that visitor ID is only valuable if reps act on it in real time, and that requires routing logic, CRM context, and alert orchestration baked in. Their product reflects that completely. You’re not just getting a name. You’re getting an enriched account card with CRM history, rep assignment, and configurable alert rules. The tradeoff is setup time and cost, and it’s a real tradeoff.

Vector positions itself at the account-intent layer rather than the individual-identification layer. It folds in third-party intent signals on top of first-party visit data, then pipes that into Outreach or Salesloft sequences directly. For teams running account-based plays, that account-first orientation matters a lot. For teams doing high-volume individual outbound, RB2B or Warmly is a faster path.

Factors.ai is the outlier. It started as a multi-touch attribution platform and bolted on visitor identification as part of a broader “understand your pipeline” narrative. If you’re already using it for attribution, the visitor ID layer is a nice bonus. But I’d never lead with Factors for a pure outbound use case. Don’t buy it for visitor ID and expect the attribution to feel like a bonus. It works the other way around.

Which visitor ID tool fits your team?

How to choose

The honest framing is: what do you plan to do with the identification data, and how fast?

If your answer is “a rep will review a Slack message and decide whether to send a LinkedIn connection request,” RB2B handles that beautifully and costs almost nothing to test. The free tier is genuinely usable, not a crippled demo. I’ve had clients run it for 90 days and generate real pipeline before ever paying a dollar. That’s not a marketing claim. That’s what happened at a 40-person SaaS company we worked with at Homegrown Growth Co. last year.

If your answer is “I want visitors routed to the right rep, enriched with CRM context, and either auto-enrolled in a sequence or surfaced for same-day outreach,” that’s a Warmly problem. You will pay more, you will spend more time on setup, and you will get dramatically more return per identified visitor. The Warmly documentation on CRM integration is thorough and the routing logic is genuinely flexible. Their intent-based trigger rules inside HubSpot workflows are the best I’ve seen in this category.

Vector earns serious consideration if you’re already running account-based outbound through Outreach or Salesloft and want intent data that plugs natively into those platforms rather than sitting in a separate Slack workflow. The integration depth is real, not a Zapier workaround. Factors earns consideration only if attribution is already on your roadmap and visitor ID is an extension of that investment, not the reason you’re buying.

One thing I’d flag from running these evaluations: match rate testing matters more than any spec sheet. Request a trial, drop the pixel, and check actual identification rates against your real traffic for two weeks before committing. I’ve seen a 2x difference in match rates between providers on the exact same site. Two weeks, real traffic, your audience. Nothing else tells you what you need to know.

The category is maturing fast

Visitor identification is no longer a vendor differentiator. It’s table stakes for any outbound-oriented GTM stack. What separates these tools now is the action layer, not the identification layer.

G2’s intent data category has grown substantially year over year, and the consolidation pressure from tools like Clay (which can waterfall-enrich identified visitors through its own enrichment table) is real. My clients at Homegrown Growth Co. are increasingly asking whether they need a dedicated visitor ID tool at all, or whether Clay plus a good enrichment waterfall covers enough of the workflow. For now, the dedicated tools still win on real-time alerting and match rate. That gap is narrowing, though. Give it another 18 months.
