Lead Data & Enrichment

MoltSets

MoltSets is an API first B2B enrichment service for Clay, Claude Code, and custom agents, with no dashboard by design. Published plans start at $27/mo. Currently in closed beta, and its rate limits are the real constraint rather than record counts.

Best for: Developers and GTM engineers whose outbound already runs through Clay, Claude Code, or custom agents, and who want raw enrichment calls rather than another dashboard.

MoltSets is an API first B2B enrichment service, deliberately scoped to five operations: people search, company search, email enrichment, phone enrichment, and email validation. There is no dashboard by design. Consumption is over REST or a native MCP server, which is the point of the product: it is meant to sit underneath an orchestration tool such as Clay or a coding agent, not beside it. The vendor describes an in house database that falls through to a multi vendor waterfall when a record is missing, and returns business and personal emails with a risk score plus carrier verified mobile numbers. Its developer site publishes a genuine OpenAPI 3.1.0 specification.

Two caveats belong in front of any evaluation, and both come from the vendor own materials. First, MoltSets entered closed beta around June 2026, so it is roughly two months old, access is by enrollment form rather than self serve signup, and there is no independent review base on G2 or Capterra to corroborate its data quality claims. Second, the unlimited framing is about pricing, not physics: the FAQ concedes the service is limited by rate limits, using burst and pause windows with weekly record caps, and the API returns remaining record counters. Third party vendor data also draws separate token charges. The company is bootstrapped, founded by Adam Robinson, and its parent is Retention.com, which also owns RB2B.

Frequently asked questions

Is MoltSets generally available?

Not yet. MoltSets entered closed beta around June 2026 and access runs through an enrollment form rather than self serve signup. Treat it as an early stage entrant: the API and documentation are real and specific, but the product is young and its data quality claims have no independent review base to check them against.

What does unlimited actually mean on MoltSets pricing?

It refers to the absence of a per record price, not the absence of limits. The vendor FAQ states the service is limited by rate limits instead, using burst and pause windows measured in five hour periods with weekly record caps that scale by tier, and the API exposes remaining record counters. Enrichment sourced from third party vendors also consumes separate tokens.

Who should not use MoltSets?

Anyone who wants a user interface. There is no dashboard, no sequencing, and no CRM, which is a deliberate scoping decision rather than a gap. Teams that need a full prospecting workspace should look at Clay or Apollo, and teams that need enterprise procurement guarantees should wait for general availability.
